Renden named Goalie of the Week in Pacific Division

The Icelandic Viking, Herman Renden, just can’t be beaten and the USPHL just voted him Goalie of the Week. 

Joshua Boyd of the United States Premier Hockey League writes, “Currently holding the top save percentage for the Sabers with 0.937, Herman Renden (‘03/Norway) has been a brick wall for San Diego helping them to remain in second place in the Pacific Division. This weekend he earned a 33-save #ShutoutShoutout over the Long Beach Shredders, which happens to be his sixth straight win. Renden has been unbeaten in regulation since October.”
